Sample print on Hahnemühle Daguerre Canvas

Hahnemühle

Daguerre Canvas

A poly-cotton inkjet canvas with a fine, uniform texture and a bright-white matt coating. Vivid colours, crisp detail, and high-contrast black-and-white prints. Acid- and lignin-free for longevity, and its high weight combined with excellent stretchability makes it ideal for stretching on canvas frames.

Heads up

Due to supply issues from the Hahnemuhle side we will discontinue this particular canvas once our stocks run out.

A matte-coated polyester-cotton blend with a natural-white colour, no optical brighteners, and a coarse texture. The premium matt coating produces sharp images with vivid colour, deep blacks, and high contrast. Acid-free, lignin-free, age-resistant. A particularly good choice for artwork reproductions and works that benefit from a visible weave reading underneath the image.

Sample print on Hahnemühle Metallic Canvas

Hahnemühle

Metallic Canvas

A heavyweight canvas with a silvery-shimmering, high-gloss finish that produces exceptional results. Works particularly well with images featuring metallic elements, reflections, ice and glass, architecture, landscape, night and city-light scenes, and many black-and-white photographs. Acid- and lignin-free, meeting the most exacting standards for ageing resistance.

Hahnemühle

Photo Canvas

A 320gsm canvas made from a polyester-cotton blend, with a bright-white tone and a matt coating optimised for photographic prints. Hahnemühle positions Photo Canvas a step below the Artist, Daguerre, and Metallic range, but we've found it produces excellent results at a more affordable price point. A frequent choice for portraits, product work, and editorial photography on canvas.

Datajet

Polycotton Canvas

Our only non-Hahnemühle canvas. A matte-coated polyester-cotton blend with a bright-white tone, producing strong-quality prints at a slightly lower price point. We find its print output and consistency on par with Hahnemühle Daguerre. Don't let the price fool you, it's still a high-quality canvas, and it's popular with our corporate and high-volume customers.

FAQ

Common questions.

If yours isn't here, WhatsApp us, we usually reply within the hour during studio hours.

  • Do you stretch and frame the canvas, or do I need to arrange that elsewhere?

We offer the full service in-house. You can print, stretch and frame with us or you can take your printed canvas elsewhere if you prefer, but its genuinely advisable to leverage the same vendor.

  • What's the difference between Standard 1" and Deep 1.5" stretching?

Standard 1" gives a classic, traditional canvas profile that sits close to the wall. Deep 1.5" has a more substantial side profile and reads more contemporary. Both use solid pine bars; the choice is aesthetic. Deep 1.5" costs slightly more because the bars use more material.

  • What is float framing?

A float frame is a solid, treated-wood surround that the stretched canvas sits inside, with a small visible gap between the canvas edge and the frame, so the canvas appears to "float". Adds a finished gallery look without obscuring the print. We offer seven colours from smooth white through to natural black oak.

  • What file types do you need, and how should I prepare the file?

TIFF, JPG, and PNG are ideal. If you can supply your file along these lines we're set:

    - Saved as a JPEG or flattened TIF

    - 300 pixels per inch at the printed size

    - 8-bit

    - RGB colour space, or converted to the ICC profile of the canvas you're printing on

Don't worry if you can't hit these exactly. Send what you have and we'll check it for you.

  • My image quality might not be good enough, can you check?

Absolutely. Send us your file via email or our contact form, and let us know the size you're looking to print at, so we can compare image resolution to the desired print size. We frequently apply enlargement and sharpening techniques on files that aren't quite print-ready.

  • Do you offer image editing services?

Yes, we offer a range of image editing, enhancement, and enlargement services. Tell us what you'd like done with your file and we'll quote it.

  • Can you do really large prints?

For fine art printing we are typically limited by the shortest edge, which is around 60". We are however able to print bigger, but using a different type of printer (flatbed UV printer). To get a quote on something beyond the limits of our online quote tool, please get in touch.

  • How long does it take?

It honestly does depend sometimes on our production queue. During busy periods we would normally say 3-5 working days as standard. If you require something quicker we can potentially turn things around in 1-2 days, but there may be express fees charged to account for this. It's worth highlighting that there is some combinations of canvas and image types which may require more time to complete. For example, images with very deep black backgrounds may need more time to sit before we varnish.

Great service from beginning to end. They even fast tracked delivery so that I can receive the paintings before my birthday. Quality of pruning and framing is excellent too. As this is specialised printing cost was on the higher side compared to what I expected

Long-time and consistent customer here. This is the only printer in Singapore I truly trust for reliability and quality. Customer service is always top-notch, and the print quality is outstanding — whether on canvas or paper. I’ve printed on most of the materials they offer, and every result has been consistently excellent. Highly recommended.

Wow! The entire canvas printing experience was absolutely top-notch from beginning to end! I was so impressed by their meticulous attention to detail to make sure the blown-up image looked phenomenal. They were incredibly patient and helpful, answering all my questions about resolution and edges, and even sending different variations via phone. The quality of the final canvas print is outstanding, and the timely delivery with great packaging made the whole process incredibly easy and exciting!

Reasonably priced printer with amazing paper! Printed mine on Hahnemühle artist canvas with the intention to repurpose an old canvas frame I got lying around. Was quite nervous how my print would turn out but when I collected it and saw the quality, I was blown away by how accurate the colors representation were and the texture of the paper. I think I found my go to printer already for future projects. Big thanks to the team for making my little project come alive. Really appreciate it!
