Wheat Field with Cypresses
A Wheat field with Cypresses was an oil on canvas painting created by Vincent van Gogh, as part of his wheat field series. All were exhibited at the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole mental asylum at Saint-Rémy near Arles, France, where Van Gogh was voluntarily a patient from May 1889 to May 1890. The works were inspired by the view from the window at the asylum towards the Alpilles mountains. This print is a reproduction of the original artwork and is intended for personal use only. The crop of your print may differ slightly based on the size you order. Additional sizes are available upon request. We highly recommend a matt paper for this work – Hahnemuhle Photo Rag, Bamboo, or German Etching would all be excellent choices.
